Last summer, Wild Steelhead Coalition Trustee Dylan Tomine made the journey up to Northern British Columbia with a film crew and a handful of other prominent anglers to produce Chrome. Spearheaded by Todd Tanner and the Conservation Hawks, Chrome celebrates the joy and passion of fly fishing for steelhead while educating anglers about the looming threats of climate change and ocean acidification. The film also focuses on our collective responsibility to protect cold, clean waters and to stand up for future generations.
Chrome debuted this past winter as part of the 2016 Fly Fishing Film Tour and received great applause across the country. The film also inspired thousands of people to sign a petition that asks Congress to pass legislation that promotes clean energy, eliminates fossil fuel subsidies, and dramatically reduces America’s CO2 emissions. With the film tour wrapping up, Conservation Hawks has released the full version of Chrome for your viewing pleasure.
