Bob Margulis, Executive Director
Bob is a Northwest entrepreneur whose businesses and involvements span various industries.
In 1991, Bob was founder/CEO of The Cordada Group: an eBusiness application development and strategic consulting company which was sold in 2000. The Cordada Group received the 1994 Emerging Business of the Year Award, and was the largest Seattle Area web development company and 6th largest Seattle software development company in 2000. Bob also consulted with technology start-ups here and abroad, and served as President/COO of ImageIQ, a medical software imaging company. Most recently he founded Ravenworks Joinery, one of the first custom cabinet shops in the Seattle area focusing exclusively on eco-friendly cabinetry.
Bob is a life-long environmentalist and spends his time off enjoying the outdoors: it was what drew him to Seattle 34 years ago.
He has a cumulative 47 years of board service and he currently serves on the board of Group Health Cooperative. Bob also was on the advisory board of the Seattle Great Cities. A lifelong climber, Bob served on the national board of The Access Fund, the national climber advocacy organization. In his earlier business, Bob served on the board of the Washington Technology Industry Association as well as the board of Bellevue Community College.
Bob is a certified Green Advantage Practitioner, an active member of the NW Eco-Building Guild, a volunteer Master Home Environmentalist, and a beekeeper. Thanks to his father’s obsession, Bob has been fishing since he was old enough to hold a rod.
